From 1 July 2014 the EN 1090-1 Harmonized Standard is mandatory for the placing on the market of structural elements in steel and aluminum in Italy and throughout the European Economic Area.
The regulatory context thus evolves from the European Directive 89/106 / EEC (Products Directive from
Construction-CPD) which has introduced throughout Europe the CE marking obligation for the production and marketing of each building material or of those materials destined to be incorporated or permanently installed in the Building.
